Subtleties
  • A license agreement can only be concluded between legal entities
  • The subject matter of the agreement must be an intellectual property object registered with Rospatent (certificate or patent) or being in the process of registration (application for an object)
  • Several objects can be entered into the agreement at the same time
  • A license agreement and a commercial concession agreement can be fee-based (with payment of royalties for the use of IP) and gratuitous (without payments). The alienation agreement can only be fee-based.
